overtones but this is distinct and unique music . Timeless . Italian prog has a distinct sound : well worth checking out . Favorite track: La Via.

Digitally remastered versions of Lavori In Corso and Duty Free Area, the first two albums from the Italian band D.F.A. Check out keyboardist Alberto Bonomi's fluid phrasings that engender multi-hued tonalities. He also looms as an accelerator when supporting or collaborating with guitarist Silvio Minela's largely soaring, jazz-fusion style lines. Meanwhile bassist Luca Baldassari and drummer/primary composer/lead vocalist Alberto De Grandis kick matters into overdrive while tempering the variable flows to coincide with the soloists' vast expressionism and artful improvisational dialogues.
